Show Funeral Services Held In South Ward Chapel For Arthur Melvin Little Funeral services were conducted in the South ward chapel, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Oct. 20, at 2 p. m., for Arthur Melvin Little, who died at the McGregor hospital late Monday, Oct. 18, after an extended ex-tended illness. Counselor John H. Schmutz of the Center ward bishopric bish-opric conducted the service. The program included two vocal duets, "The Lord Is My Shepherd", Shep-herd", and ""Rock of Ages", by Mrs. Ray Schmutz and Mrs. Von B. Cottam, and vocal solo, "Beyond "Be-yond the Sunset", by Kenneth Tobler of Santa Clara. M. B. Langford, stake clerk was the only speaker, sermonizing on the eternity of life and the certainty cer-tainty that all is . and will be well in the plan of life and salvation salva-tion organized for mankind by the creator. Born in Pennsylvania, June 28, 1870, Arthur Melvin Little was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Little. Details of his life history are not available, except that he came to Bull Valley more than 30 years ago when mining began in that area and has made his home there since. His kindness is shelt- , ering cattlemen, hunters and any strangers who came his way has won him many friends throughout through-out this part of the country. |
