Show BUNKERVILLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Reporter A birthday dinner was given in honor of John Leavitt on Sunday, Oct. 17 on his 52nd anniversary. All members of his family were present, including Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leavitt and son, Nolan, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leavitt and son, Austin, all of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hunt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Waite and daughter of Bunkerville; and Mrs. Stewart Pulsipher and son of Mes-quite. Mes-quite. Their son, Pvt. Reed Leavitt Leav-itt arrived just in time for the event, which added to the joy of all present. Lamar Hardy and Miss Thora Leavitt were married Oct. 16 in the St. George L.D. S. Temple. A reception was given in their honor Saturday night. The evening eve-ning was spent in dancing. A beautiful assortment of gifts were presented to them. Lunch was m served to about 300 guests. '0I Pvt. He will JJa leave for special training on the 27th of October, for Army duty. |
