Show Mrs. W.J. ReichmannTo Present Talk At Westward M.I. A. Meet The special interests group of the West ward M. I. A. announce their book review for Tuesday evening, eve-ning, Oct. 26, will be, "And They Shall Walk", given by Mrs. W. J. Reichmann. This is Elizabeth Kenny's story of her life in which she tells how she discovered the Kenny cure for polio victims, which now makes possible the return to physical phy-sical activity of children, and even of adults who have been paralyzed para-lyzed by this affliction. All those interested are invited to attend. On Tuesday of this week, L. A. Porter and Lorin D. Squire, both highway patrolmen talked on "Safety On the Highway", before the Washington county school teachers safety classes. Both patrolmen stated that the under-age youth of today are the ones who are causing so much trouble. In these cases the parents par-ents are held responsible and according ac-cording to law are subject to arrest. ar-rest. This is really becoming a serious situation, stated these men and officers are going to bear down heavily and make parents realize their responsibility in helping help-ing to control this increasing hazard haz-ard on the highways. |
