Show Scout News ... Chester Snow of Troop 402, Boy Scouts of America, was allowed the Life rank in the court of review re-view held Tuesday evening. Star awards were allowed to Bobby Pearce of Troop 402 and Arthur Gregerson of Troop 404. Merit badges were passed upon as follows: Maiben Ashby, scoutmaster scout-master Troop 403, merit badge in business; Paul LaMar Wilkin, Troop 404, handicraft and fire-manship; fire-manship; Dick Miles; Bobby Pearce, Troop 402, public health and safety; Chester Snow, Troop 402, athletics, camping and handicraft; handi-craft; Paul Thompson, Troop 402, wood carving. The Flying Eagle patrol of Troop 402 have now completed the equipping and decorating of a patrol room in the basement of the home of Harold Miles. The boys meet once a week for patrol activities and have set as their goal for all to reach Eagle rank, in keeping with the name of their patrol. At present they have two Life Scouts, four Star, two First Class and one Second Class. |
