Show LaYERKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weber were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hardy. Mrs. Weber and two small sons Walter and Bill, have been here for the past week, canning fruit and visiting. Mrs. Pearl Henroid and daughter daugh-ter Pearl, have returned home from their trip with Mrs. Hen-roid's Hen-roid's daughters into Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, and also into Canada. They came home by way of Washington, Oregon and California. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pulsipher of Las Vegas were visitors here Sunday. With them was their son Von, and their neice from Bunkerville. The third quorum of elders, with Wilford Thompson as president, presi-dent, have their land ready for the planting of cane, with which to make their contribution of sorghum to the Church Welfare plan. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Glade were j visitors at the home of Mrs. Pearl j Henroid, on their way from Salt i Lake City to Los Angeles. Miss Daisy Hardy has returned home from Las Vegas, where she j has been visiting relatives for the 1 past week. j Word has been received here ' that the Blake reunion, that was scheduled for June 28, has been postponed until some time in August. J Reed Wilson has been busy with the packing and shipping of early apricots. There seems to be a large crop of fine early apricots j this year. Wicklcy Gubler and family are . at their sawmill, on Mt. Trumbull, Trum-bull, for the summer. Warren Church, who has been attending the A. C. at Loan the past wintnr, and Horatio Gubler, who has born teaching in northern Utah, were the speakers at Sacra- ' ment meeting. Mrs. Orrin Hepworth, who is staying with her sister, Mrs. Hardy Segler, is reported much improved and has been told by Dr. Mclntyre, that within a few months' time she may be able to return to Pioehe, if her health improves as it has done. Because of the hiph altitude at Pioche, there hai hieen some doubt as to her bc-ins able to live there. , |
