Show LaVERKIN Winf erd Gubler Reporter The Gubler reunion was held in the LaVerkin ward hall Tuesday night. Pres. Ovando Gubler was in charge and Donworth Gubler was master of ceremonies. A program pro-gram was given and ice cream and cookies were served to about 60 people. There was dancing and election of officers for the ensuing en-suing year, with the present officers of-ficers being reinstated. Mrs. La Veil Hinton gave a birthday birth-day party for her daughter Lorna, who was eight years old on Tuesday. Tues-day. There were about twenty guests present. Mrs. Pearl Henroid announces the engagement and approaching marriage of. her daughter, Miss Wanda Webb to William R. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Hurricane. The ceremony will be performed in Salt Lake City on June 28. Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Owen Burgess on June 23. This supercedes an announcement of a boy recently. The neighbors gave the wrong information, . a little premature. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Keller came to bring Mrs. Pearl Henroid home after being on a trip through the Northwest and Canada. Mrs. Keller Kel-ler was formerly Miss Flora Weeb. Mr. Keller has been a Park ranger and is now on his way to Berke-1 ley, Calif., to attend school. The beet seed here is ripening fast and the grain is about all cut. |
