B. King of Price. Mayor Sandberg has served two terms in this office. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nuttal and Mr. and Mrs. Vernet Hinton accompanied the Tigers to Kanab Friday night to see the game between be-tween the Cowboys and the Tigers. Tig-ers. The Cowboys won the game. Mr. and Mrs. Eliu Whatcott visited with her mother and father, fath-er, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Larson Sunday, it being Mrs. Larson's birthday. Mrs. Whatcott is the former Leila Larson. Mrs. Ariel Hunt, the former Elaine King is visiting here for two months. She has been employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City. Mr, and Mrs. Victor King received re-ceived word from their son, Pvt. Ray King that he has arrived in Farragut, Idaho. He has been wounded and has been in a hospital hospi-tal in England but told them that he would be seeing them soon. Sunday evening a cottage meeting meet-ing was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Heywood. Mrs. Josephine Sandberg and Mrs. Martha Isom, stake missionaries, were in charge. Mayor Sandberg, Emerald Stout and Gardner Haywood Hay-wood were the speakers. The Lady Lions met for their business meeting at the home of Mrs. Allie Wilson. Mrs. LaVern Isom was co-hostess. Mrs. J. A. Kcndell and daughter Delia, of Nephi visited over the week end 'with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hinton. Miss Kendall accepted ac-cepted the position of supervisor of War Food Preservation for Washington and Kane counties and will make her home in St. George for the present. Mrs. Clair L. Reber, the former Mary Lyn Woodbury is spending the week in Santa Clara with her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Reber. The Ladies Pinochle club met at the home of Mrs. Ben Lee Wednesday evening. Mrs. Erma Stevens was co-hostess. The prize of the evening was won by Mrs. John L. Hunt. Consolation prize went to Mrs. George Stevens. Luncheon was served to twelve guests. Mrs. Jack Scholzcn entertained 20 girls at her home Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scholzcn have returned from a business trip through Los Angeles to San Francisco. Enrouto they stopped at Salinas whore they visited Mrs. Scholzen's sister, Mrs. Bingman, the former Ellen Sanders. They left home on January 13 and returned re-turned last Saturday. Mrs. AI Prater, the former Stella Lee has employment as a nurse at the McGregor hospital. Her husband, Cpl. Al Prater is in Belgium. Mr. and Mrs. David Teeples have gone to St. George to spend a month or two. Mr. and Mrs. Waller Workman have bought Miss Coleman's home and are moving into it soon. This home was built by Walter Stout in the North Ward.
