Show LaVERKSN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter , According to a telegram received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gubler,' Lt. Don Gubler and Miss Harriet Mace were married mar-ried last Friday, Jan. 26, at Odessa, Texas. Miss Mace is a former resident of Kanab but has spent the past several years at Cedar City where she has been employed at the bank. Her mother moth-er resides at Kanab. Later when a leave will permit, the couple plan a Temple marriage. Miss Elaine Sterling of Leeds was a week end visitor here with Miss Fae Sanders. Sunday afternoon after-noon a group of girls visited at Leeds at the Sterling home. Among them were Fae Sanders, Ramona Gubler, Clara LeBaron, Venice Whitney and Gard& De-Mille. De-Mille. Visiting with Miss Hilda Brooks over the week end was Miss Gif-ford Gif-ford of Springdale. . , Mr. and Mrs. Max Woodbury are in northern Utah on business. Here to care for their family, is Mrs. Ruth Seegmiller, a sister of Mrs. Woodbury. A friendship shower for Mrs. Geneva Segler was given last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Hazel Hardy. Mrs. Wayne Wilson has returned return-ed from Salt Lake City, where she has spent the past two weeks. Darrell Gubler is ill at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Speakers at Sacrament meeting were DuWayne Squire and LaVon Church of the Teachers Quorum, and Bill Nielson and Camilla Judd. A trio was sung by Mrs. Max Woodbury, Mrs. Percy Witt-wer Witt-wer and Mrs. Harrison, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Delworth Wilson. DeLois Wilson entertained a group at a birthday anniversary party on Monday evening. |
