CarLson Terry has received his call to the armed forces and will leave Aug. 2nd to beein training 1 at Miami, Florida. 1 Rockville joined with Spring- dale this year in celebrating the 24th of July. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hirschi and son, Garn, spent July 24 at Oak Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd DeMille and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Carrol and daughter spent several days on Kolob mountain last week with Mr. and Mrs. Newell DeMille. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Ballard and , family, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMille, De-Mille, Mrs. Rachel Hirschi and , children, lone and Wendell DeMille, De-Mille, Mrs. Delia Gale and daughter, daugh-ter, Lorraine, spent July 24 on Cedar mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mahan, daughter, Patricia and son, Dennis of Aztec, N. M., are guests of Mrs. Mahan'8 parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Leavitt and twin daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Snow of St. George were visitors Monday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hirschi, parents of Mrs. Leavitt. Mrs. Leo Hirschi left Monday for Boulder City to visit her daughter, Rae, who is employed there. Mrs. Arch Ballard took her son, Melvin, to Hurricane Monday for minor foot surgery. Dr. Fae Ahlstrom of Camp Haan, Calif., is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Terry and family. Pfc. Earl Mansor spent four days here last week from his post at Fort Knox, Ky. Mrs. Jacob Dalton and children of Las Vegas are visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Mansor. Man-sor. Mrs. Almeda Dalton is spending spend-ing a few days here from Moccasin, Moc-casin, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker arrived from St. George, to spend several days. Mrs. Marvin Terry entertained a crowd of young children Monday evening in honor of her daughter, Jeannett on her 7th birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Arden Hirschi and Jack Henderson Hend-erson spent the week end home from their work in Las Vegas Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bleak and children of St. George spent last Saturday visiting relatives and friends in Rockville. Mr. and Mrs. Artemus DeMille and son, Stanley, spent Saturday at Duck lake. |
