Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter The 24th of July was celebrated here under the direction of the M. I. A. Serenading at 4 a. m., started at the day's program, ' which was under the direction of Mrs. Victor Iverson. A program pro-gram at 10:30 a.m., was in charge of Mrs. Clayton Williams and Mrs. W. W. Staheli. The old folks were brought to the program and immediately following that they were served a lunch in the basement base-ment of the church. This was given by the D. U. P. Sports and a dance at night for the children concluded the day's program. Mrs. Pratt of Hinckley is here with her daughter, Mrs. Glen Tobler who is ill. Mrs. Allen of Panguitch is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Tobler who has a new baby. Mrs. Vernel Neilson and Mrs. Clark Nisson returned Sunday from Las Vegas where they had spent the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall entertained enter-tained members of th first aid class at a melon bust at their home Thursday evening. Donald and Ronald Vincent spent Sunday from Vegas with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent. Mrs. Fay Iverson entertained at a card party Sunday night honoring hon-oring her husband's birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Mrs. Charles Anderson of Boise, Ida., and sisterMiss Tillie Winsor of St. George were visiting Sunday Sun-day at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson. Bill Miller spent the 24th here with his family from Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Cooperof Las Vegas spent the 24th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rass Cooper. Paul Neilson is spending a few days here from Phoenix, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Neil-son Jr. Mrs. Darrell Nisson was hostess to her Rook club Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Lanta West of Los Angeles is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hall. |
