Show City Swimming Pool Meeting the Needs of St. George By MABEL JARVIS Not for years has St. George had a recreation center that enjoyed greater popularity than does the Muncipial pool, judging by reports and receipts. On scarcely a day of the week from 2 p. m., 'till closing time is the pool minus swimmers, either in small groups, families, family groups or party size crowds. The weather is warm, the water is not too cold, the guard service adequate, and the people, both young and old. are enjoying this facility beyond any individual's capacity to measure. Young people, stranded for something vital to do, girls' sewing clubs, boys' Scout groups, social clubs, often with mixed crowds are out in volume every day and every evening, enjoying en-joying the swimming and the vitality vi-tality that results from this health-giving health-giving exercise.
