Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Adair and Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Hemenway ! went to Pine Valley to spend their vacation. While there Mr. Adair I suffered an acute attack of ap-J ap-J pendicitis and it was necessary to take him to Cedar City where he underwent an appendectomy. Mrs. Julia Fish had the mis-! mis-! fortune to fall and break the end of her thumb. The bone was ! broken and the flesh torn. She I! was rushed to Cedar for medical ; help, but in spite of help, infec-i infec-i tion set in and she has had to go to Cedar City each day for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. William Bauers made a business trip to Cedar City on Friday. Imogene Holt is home from Salt Lake City where she has been working. Blaine and Beverly Barnum ars ; here from Pioche to visit and en-i en-i joy the Twenty-fourth celebration and the rodeo. i Mr. and Mrs. George Clove anc baby girl of Hailey, Idaho, anc Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Truman anc ! two children from Ventura, Calif, are visiting here with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Clove They will stay for the rodeo Mary Jane Clove who has beer in Ventura for several month: working returned home with Mr and Mrs. Truman. Sunday evening Joseph N. Skau-sen, Skau-sen, president of the Uvada stake mission and Thelma Williams missionary from Caliente, togethei with the local missionaries hek services om the opn-air court. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Huntsman have returned home from Provo where Mr. Huntsman has been attending at-tending summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Orlis Alger, Mr. and Mrs. Lavel Robinson of Ox-nard, Ox-nard, Calif., stopped over here for a few days' visit enruote to their home from Detroit, where Mr. Robinson purchased a new car. Mrs. Ralph Gleason and Mrs. ; Ray Gleason of Garland, are visiting visit-ing over the week-end with their I parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Z. j Alger. Joseph Wadsworth of Las Vegas, I .
