Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Stirling Seegmiller Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Edwards and two children left Sunday for Fillmore where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hall and son Glade, Mrs. Jay Crawford, Mrs. Afton Gifford and Mrs. Mary Jensen left Tuesday for Salt Lake City where they will attend the Covered Wagon Days celebration. Mrs. Henry Wilson has returned from California where she has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Irvin Bruson. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hepworth made a business trip to Kolob on Sunday of last week to observe conditions there. They reported finding it greener and more water than they had ever seen. Elmer Roundy, who has been in Montana the past month shearing sheep, returned Friday with his wife, who has been in Pioche during dur-ing his absence, visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans returned re-turned to their home at Hatch. Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Gifford ; and children, and Mrs. Heber '. Crawford and children left for , Draper Saturday for a few days' visit. Mrs. Crawford joined her ! husband in Ogden where he has employment. ', Mrs. Lavina Gifford has gone , to California with Mr. and Mrs. , Elmer Higby, who have gone to make their home, after visiting here with relatives. Mrs. Amelia J. Gifford and Miss Nola Hepworth have returned home from a visit to California. Mrs. Hortense Excell, after returning re-turning from a visit in California last week was rushed to the bedside bed-side of her mother in Panguitch. Mrs. Excell is home for a week after which she will return to Panguitch to be with her mother. Sunday Sacrament Services Our Sacrament services Sunday were in honor of our pioneers Pioneer experiences were given b; John Winder, Mrs. Mary Jensen John R. Crawford and Mrs. Wal ter Ruesch. A pioneer song wa: sung by Mrs. Alvin Allred anc Mrs. Harold Russell Tribute: were given by Laura Crawforc and Avard Gifford and a talk or the life of Brigham Young as pioneer leader by Othel Gifford. In State Tournament Members of the Springdale Junior baseball club will leave foi Brigham City, July 30, where thej will play in the state tournament on July 31 and August 1 and 2 They have won over three-fourth; of the games so far. Members ol the club are: Arden Allred, Dil-worth Dil-worth Ruesch, Mack Excell, Carlson Carl-son Terry, Verl Langston, Ray-nold Ray-nold Jennings, Robert Langston. Gene Woodbury, Gale Gifford, Leon Gifford, Fenton Hirschi, Arden Ar-den Hirschi and Tom Bockmire. Mr. Bockmire is, in Morgan and will meet the team at Brigham City. MESQUITE Mrs. Daisy L. Reber Reporter Leonard Reber left last Friday for Provo where he will attend the session of summer school, Mrs. Laurel Leavitt and family accompanied accom-panied him and will spend two weeks visiting with Mrs. Reber's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dur-ant. Dur-ant. Mrs. Dee Houston and Fay Leavitt have the job of checking cars here while Ira Reber and Charles Leavitt have it at Moapa. Brady Walker, who has employment em-ployment at Logandale, spent Sunday Sun-day here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walker. The following have gone to Salt Lake City to attend the Covered Wagon Days celebration, Stewart Pulsipher, Melbourne Jensen and Billie Pulsipher.
