Show Miss Elaine Sandlerg and Sgt. II. LeRoy Adams United la Temple Rites Here Exchanging their marriage vows Saturday, Nov. 4th, in the St. I George L. D. S. Temple, were Miss I Elaine Sandberg of Hurricane and Sgt. II. LeRoy Adams of Parowan. Pres. Harold S. Snow officiated I at the ceremony, a large group of I relatives and friends attending. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Sandberg of j Hurricane. She graduated from Hurricane high and Dixie junior college and later from the U. S. A. C, Logan, where she was a member of Kappa Delta and Phi Upsilon Omicron, the National Na-tional Home Economics fraternity. Mr. Adams is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh L. Adams of Parowan. He graduated from B. A. C, and also attended the U. S. A. C, where he was a member of Delta Phi. He had previously filled an L. D. S. mission to the east central cen-tral states. In June 1942, he -discontinued his schooling to enter military service. The marriage took place while Sgt. Adams was home on a short furlough from Camp Butner, North Carolina, where he is in training with the field artillery. The Hurricane North ward chapel furnished the setting for the reception which was given by the bride's parents Wednesday evening, honoring the couple. Sgt. Adams will return to Camp Butner Friday, and Mrs. Adams will resume her position as instructor in-structor in the home economics department of Hurricane high school, where she has been employed em-ployed the past two years. |
