Show Hunts Celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary Monday, Nov. 6, marked the sixtieth six-tieth wedding anniversary for Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Hunt of St. George. With their children all in California, Calif-ornia, they had no special celebration cele-bration of the event, although the mail brought them messages and gifts. They spent the day visiting with friends who called and talked over the events of their sixty years together. Mrs. Hunt's maiden name was Myra Kelsey. They were married in the St. George Temple, Nov. 6, 1880. A big wedding dance and reception was given in their honor at that time. Both decend-ed decend-ed from early Utah and Dixie pioneers and as young people, they learned the hardships and joys of early life in Dixie. Mrs. Hunt will reach her milestone number 80 on Friday, Nov. 17. Throughout his life, Mr. Hunt was active as a freighter and farmer and Mrs. Hunt was an expert seamstress. She has also been active in relief society work and as a member of the D. U. P. Both are in excellent health except ex-cept for failing sight and are able to care for themselves and enjoy their visits with friends. They have five living children including one daughter, Mrs. Eltha Gillen of San Francisco, and four sons, Clifford . of San Gabriel; William and Reed of Los Angeles and Edward of Southgate, Calif. They also have ten grandchildren, with five grandsons in military service. |
