Show Cedar To Play Dixie Here Monday, Noy. 13 Dixie Swamps Hurricane To Win Dixie Division Here Tuesday Afternoon Cedar City will play Dixie here next Monday for the Region 6 championship in 6-man football. The game is set for 2:45. These two teams won the play-offs in their respective districts to qualify qual-ify for the region finals. Dixie downed Hurricane here Tuesday 48-13, and Cedar City broke the deadlock with Beaver by winning on the latter's field Wednesday 28-8. In the game Tuesday Hurricane made the first touchdown and scored the extra point on a pass to lead 7-0. Langston raced the whole length of the field on the kickoff play. The first quarter ended 16-13 for the Flyers. Dixie scored an additional six points during the second quarter to lead 22-13 at the half. Neither team scored during the third period, but the Flyers went on a scoring spree during the last canto to leave no doubts as to the eventual winner. Dixie showed her strongest defensive de-fensive strength of the season against Hurricane and continued her already strong offensive. The game at Beaver was a deadlock, 8 to 8, at the end of the third period. During the final quarter the Redmen broke loose for three touchdowns and the championship of the northern district dis-trict of Region 6. . Following the Cedar - Beaver game, Coach Stan Watts won the toss for the field for the championship cham-pionship game, which is to be played here Monday. The looser Monday will go to Roosevelt next Friday to play the Region 5 champions. The winner there will play the winner of Monday's game at a place to be decided by a toss of a coin.
