Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter Doyle Jackson and Mrs. Ethel Jackson of Loa, Utah, visited over the week end with Mrs. Jackson's father, George I. Beatty. Tuesday, evening the Primary officers and teachers entertained the children at a Hallowe'en party. Miss Karen Bringhurst entertained enter-tained a group of friends at a birthday anniversary party Saturday Satur-day afternoon. The Toquerville Relief Society conference was held Sunday evening. eve-ning. The program consisted of talks, music and readings. Mrs, Owen Bergener, of Hurricane, stake president, attended. Berniece Bringhurst and Lewis Fish left Friday for Salt Lake City for their physical examinations examin-ations prior to military induction, Rev. and Mrs. Charles H. Hamilton Ham-ilton returned Monday from Fre-donia, Fre-donia, where they visited friends over the week end. Miss Berdeen Beatty of Cedar City is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Esbert Beatty. Mrs. Evelyn Sterns left Tuesday Tues-day for Seattle, Wash. Last Wednesday evening the G. I. Wives Sewing club met at the home of Mrs. Nats Stapley. Mrs. Zina Prisbrey of , Washington Wash-ington spent the week end here visiting with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Stapley. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dodge were Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Waldorf Bauer and families of Cedar City. |
