Show SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Mrs. Wanda Frei was hostess to the Dutchettes club Tuesday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. Jessie Frei. Prizes were won by Mrs. Voile Mason, Mrs. Hilda Stucki and Mrs. Anneliese Ence. Guests included Mrs. Barbara Barton, Mrs. Beulah Graff,, . Mrs. Mary Alice Graff, Mrs. Ora Nell Frei and Mrs. Dorothy Frei. - Albert aff, Mrs. Grant Hafen and Mrs. Sylvan Graff visited relatives at Alamo on Friday. Miss Colleen Reber of Las Vegas is here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. V. Gray Gubler and family were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Laub during dur-ing the past week. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Helmer of Chicago, 111., are visiting with their daughter, Mrs. Wayne Hafen. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Graff and family and Elaine Graff left for Tooele' Monday to spend some time with Mrs. Graff's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen.. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graff left Saturday for Little Tank, Ariz., where they spent several days on business. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Frei, Mr. and Mrs. Vendon Ence and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Stucki are going to Mexico. Miss Joanne Stucki returned home from Panguitch where she has been visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Stucki were at Riverside, Calif., for a few days with their son, Cleyon Stucki. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tobler and family left for their home in Salt Lake City after spending several weeks here with relatives. George E. Tobler accompanied them. 4-H Club News The Victory Sewing girls of Santa Clara have concluded their 4-H club course for this year. The club has been meeting regularly all summer and have completed the second phase in sewing under the leadership of Mrs. Helen Hafen. The club placed third in the clothing exhibit held in St. George. The garments made by Edna Gubler, Deloris Frei, Lorna Stucki, LoRyne Graff and Lorna Graff were the ones chosen for the exhibit. |
