Waldon Ballard Bal-lard and son, Dean, and Mrs. Newell DeMille were business visitors vis-itors in St. George Tuesday. lone DeMille, Lavar, Garn and Howard Hirschi spent the week end home from their work in Cedar City. A large crowd of both young and old folk from Rockville attended at-tended the Peach Day celebration at Hurricane, Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. A wedding party honoring Mr. and 'Mrs. Wrethal Spendlove of Virgin was given Aug. 19th, in the Rockville recreation hall by the bride's -parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Cox. A large crowd attended. at-tended. The evening was spent in dancing, after which refreshments refresh-ments were served. , Mr. and Mrs. A. Broderick and children arrived Saturday from Emery to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Cox, They returned re-turned Tuesday, accompanied by! Mrs. Clement Broderick and baby them. Mrs. Broderick is the for-who for-who will spend the winter with mer Marie Cox. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Langston of Pipe Valley and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Ferrin of Cane Beds, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Almeda Cox. Miss Maxine Bowman of St. Ge'orge is visiting at the home of Mrs. Alice Walker. Mr. and Mrs. ."Orlin Frehner and baby of Mesquite are visiting with Bishop and Mrs. Guy DeMille, De-Mille, parents of Mrs. Frehner. |
