Show LaVERKIN Pansy L. Hardy Reporter Mrs. Delworth Wilson entertained a group of friends at a lawn party Monday evening honoring Mrs. Mansel Scow, formerly of LaVerkin, who was here from Salt Lake City visiting. Miss Dixie DeMille is home from her summer employment in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Heywood and children of Las Vegas are guests this week of Mrs. LaVell Hinton. Mrs: Violet Church of St. George was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Church, Mrs. Willard Duncan left Wednesday Wed-nesday morning to spend a month with her husband who is in military mili-tary training. Most of the Japanes helpers from Topaz re-location center have returned home after assisting assist-ing with the fruit picking. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon .Church are leaving Thursday for Salt Lake City to be wit h Mrs. Church's sister, who is to undergo under-go surgery. The fruit harvest is about over at LaVerkin. There was a large peach crop and a fair crop of Dears. |
