Show Springdale Mrs. Jay Crawford Reporter Seminary students from Hurricane high school furnished . the program pro-gram in sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Venice Excell was in charge with the following program: The theme was the 4th article of Faith talks were given by Corris Gibson, Gib-son, Ralph Henderson and Donna Crawford, La Donna Stevens and Barbara Tweedie gave a violin duet; Beulah Barber gave a solo, with Dorothy Hirschi at the piano. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Christensen, Christen-sen, Jasper and Ola Crawford spent last week in Los Angeles. Mr. Christensen was receiving medical attention. Leo K. Homer and LaFell Iverson Iver-son were stake visitors at our Sunday sacrament services. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Justet, Lloyd Crawford and Lillian Christensen Chris-tensen made a trip to Salt Lake during the week. Weston Justet remained as he has employment there. Merna Brockmere entertained a group of her friends at a Valentine Valen-tine party Monday evening. Everybody Every-body reported a good time. Mrs. Delia Hardy and Mrs. Jeneva Johnson attended the funeral of their aunt, Maggie Wright at Hurricane on Wednesday. Mrs. Katherine Brockmere entertained en-tertained at a birthday party for her little son, Harry. He was seven years old. The program from St. George was greatly appreciated here and we hope they come again soon. Mrs. Velda Robertson with her rythme band entertained at a party at the cafeteria Friday night. Pauline Crawford had her birthday birth-day anniversary party Monday evening. Sixteen of her friends were present. Samuel Crawford was released as ward clerk and Ernest Crawford Craw-ford was chosen for this place. Mr. Crawford had been in this office for nine years. |
