Show Rockville Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter Wayne Demill, who has been visiting his sister, Mrs. Jack Shell in Oakland, Calif, returned home last week. Mack Whitney and Mr. Whiting, contractors from Springdale, visited visit-ed at the home of RusseU Mahan Saturday evening. Wayne Hinton, a member of the stake presidency with Nelson Snow of the Hurricane high faculty were Sunday missionaries at sacrament meeting. Their wives accompanied them. Heber Hirschi has been having a lot of trouble after having some teeth extracted last week. Celebrating his fourth birthday today, little Walter Demill is entertaining a group of friends under the supervision of his father, Newell Demill. Open house was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs, Henry Hirschi from 3 to 6 o'clock Tuesday, Tues-day, the occasion being their 50th wedding anniversary. A large group of friends called. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Snow of Mapleton came down Saturday to spend the wedding birthday of Mrs. Snow's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hirschi. All their children chil-dren were here except one son, Glen, who is away working. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mahan and daughter, Pat are leaving Tuesday evening for Reno, Nev. at they received word of the serious illness of his mother, Mrs George Mahan. |
