Show College Thru For Season; High Plays Fri. Sat- Dixie Tackles Hurricane In Featured Game Friday Night At Hurricane Dixie High will play- two of its remaining games on the schedule this week end while the college basketeers will put away their suits for the season. The high school team will journey jour-ney to Hurricane Friday and will meet the Enterprise team here Saturday night. Coach Hafen's boys continued their winning streak last week, while the college boys sank deeper into the cellar. The former won with ease from Parowan, 41-23, with every man on the team seeing see-ing action. The highlight of this game is that Wilkin seems to have found his scoring eye, to match shots with Gentry and Heaton. These three, backed by fine guarding from Banard Hafen and Elvin Hafen, played real ball at Parowan Friday. Wilkin made eight field goals in this game. The college boys were out-( out-( Continued on page eight) Dixie Basketball (Continued from first page) classed both nights at Ephraim, losing the first game 33-53 and dropping the other, Saturday night, 36-54. This leaves Snow undefeated un-defeated in league competition this year. They will play a three-game series with Weber, starting tonight at Ephraim, for the conference championship. Weber decisively defeated Mesa, central division winners, last week. A large crowd from St. George will travel to Hurricane tomorrow night to see what promises to be a hard-fought game. Hurricane will be fighting with their backs to the wall to retain their championship chances. A win over Hurricane Friday on the other hand, followed by the expected victory over Enterprise here on Saturday night, would clinch the division for Dixie. Cedar City upset Hurricane on last Friday night 31-21, Kanab winning the same night from Enterprise 34-22. Valley high bested Enterprise Saturday night, 47-31.
