Show Annual Gold And Green Ball Slated For March 1 The three St. George wards are joining this year as usual in their annual M.I.A. Gold and Green Ball, officers are announcing this week. The ball is scheduled for Friday, March 1, and invitations to attend have been addressed to all other wards of the stake. Much work is being done by communities communi-ties to make this an outstanding event of the season, say the sponsors. Varying from the past practice of having one king and queen chosen from among the three wards, this year each ward will present its ' own king and queen, the three sets of Gold and Green Rulers being presented during the evening in a court ensemble. Voting Vot-ing is already being started in all three wards, and the fact that each will be officially and fully represented, will unquestionably stimulate the interest in attendance, attend-ance, is the opinion, and will give each of the local wards the same opportunity for recognition as other wards of the church. Continuous music will be provided pro-vided for the evening with the Keith Ross Syncopaters and Howard How-ard Cannon's Melody Makers on the band stand. |
