Show Good Progress Reported By Census Enumerators Christy Anderson, supervisor, district dis-trict No. 1, Bureau of the Census, reports that at the end of the seventh day of the enumeration of population, agriculture, and housing, that 20 per cent of the task is now completed. Despite the adverse publicity which has been currently advertised in the press of the nation relative to the Census, the reception by all enumerators enu-merators in this area has been exceedingly good. In commenting on the progress which has been made, Mr. Anderson Ander-son expressed his appreciation for the spirit of cooperation which has been shown by all persons interviewed. When it is considered that there are 83 enumerators working in District No. 1, the above statement speaks well for the type of citizenship with whom they have to deal. The following people are the enumerators for Washington county: Elizabeth Snow Beck-strom, Beck-strom, Wesley Alma Nelson, Frances C. Simmons, Karl Miles Wallace, Ellen Seegmiller Bentley, Helen Pope Fuller, Earl Spend-love Spend-love and Alice Isom Gubler. |
