Show M.I.A. Sessions Held In West and South Wards Here Sunday, April 7 M.I.A, sessions were held in the west and south wards Sunday evening with special programs featured. The west ward program was a discussion of Temple marriages versus ordinary civil marriages. This was lead by Norma and La-Void La-Void Terry with responses by Pres. W. W. McArthur, Mrs. Ellen Bentley, Mr. and Mrs. Von Cot-tam Cot-tam and M.I.A. students. In the south ward J. Roman Andrus of Los Angeles and Ma-thias Ma-thias F. Cowley were special speakers. Mr. Andrus told of the church activities in Los Angeles and Mr. Cowley related several specially requested incidents, one of which was a visit in 1882 at the home of David Whitmer, one of the three witnesses of the Book of Mormon, and of his written writ-ten statements and personal testimony testi-mony given to the visitors at that time. |
