Show i Leeds CCC Camp Reports Satisfactory Program On Anniversary The program commemorating the seventh anniversary of the CCC was consummated to the satisfaction satis-faction of the supervisory personnel per-sonnel at the Leeds CCC camp. Promptly at 1 p.m. the doors to all departments, barracks, offices, of-fices, etc. of this camp were open for inspection. Representatives from St. George, Hurricane, Santa Clara and Leeds filed in to see what had been accomplished during dur-ing the past year. At 7:30 p.m. the following program pro-gram was presented to a well filled house in the dining room: - Congregational singing, under the direction of S. A. Bushman, educational adviser; prayer, by Walter Eager; speech of welcome, John S. Shipley, company commander; com-mander; vocal solo, Clive Hart-man, Hart-man, of the Dixie college; "The SCS and Its Relation to the CCC" by Tom M. Young, camp superintendent superin-tendent and Melvin Hamilton of the SCS office in St. George; xilophone solo, Mr. Peterson of Dixie college; "The CCC and the Leeds Community" by Bp. Stanley Fuller; vocal solo, Clive Hartman; remarks, by Pres. Glenn Snow, of Dixie college; xilophone solo, by Mr. Peterson; address, H. L. Reid, of Dixie college. Following the program the crowd retired to the camp recreational recrea-tional hall to enjoy dancing for the remainder of the evening. Free refreshments were served to all present. |
