Show Alice Louise Reynolds Club Meets Wednesday Momlors of the Alice Louise Reynolds Rey-nolds club wore entertained on Wednesday afternoon at tho Arrowhead hotel banquet rooms with Mrs. La Von McQuaid and Mrs. George Pace as co-hostesses. Tho program was arranged with a dual interest in keeping with the National Hygiene Week activities and the state-wide beautification movement. Refreshments were served to 27. The Misses Lenore Perkins, Alone Wort hen and Mary Lou Wells, students of tho Dixie junior college gave pajvrs on the recent survey of Venereal diseases. Mrs. Marion M. Snow gave some highlights high-lights on modern electrical aids, stressing porpor lighting of the homo. Mrs. Snow is Home Economist Eco-nomist of the Southern Utah Power Company. Mrs. Carl Mathis talked on gardening, centering cen-tering her remarks on shrubs, what to choose and how to care for them. With Mrs. Mae A. Pace accompanying. Mrs. Alice Cannon and Dilworth Snow sang. "When the Snow Flies In tho Rookies", and Mrs. Cannon sang. "Thank God for a Garden". |
