Show La Yerkin Mrs. Alice Gnbler Reporter Mrs. Areta Church and Mrs. Thora Gubler atended the Spring-dale Spring-dale relief society on Tuesday afternoon in the capacity of stake visitors. The Singing Mothers of the stake are holding their regular singing hours in preparation for the relief society anniversary celebration cele-bration which will be held on March 17. The high priests, seventies and elders quorums of the stake met here Sunday afternoon. A large turn-out was reported. Mrs. Minnie Wilson is just recovering from her sick bed. She has been quite ill for the past little while. Mr. and Mrs. LaR.ue Stratton, who have been employed by the Sander's Brothers for some tirr..--to help care for the Uil" v flocks, suffered a burn-- it r Wednesday evening. They built. u;j : good fire in the stove before going out in the evening to make their regular rounds and when they returned to camp they found the place in flames. The fire had gained too much of a foothold foot-hold to attempt to save anything. any-thing. They had quite a few of their belongings with them, making mak-ing their loss quite serious. Luther Fuller presented the Sunday school play, "A Family Affair" at Santa Clara Thursday night. The cast reported that the play was well attended. Mr. Fuller is casting another play at the present time to help raise Sunday school funds. Mrs. Christina Peterson of Manti. Utah, is here visiting at the home of her son. Lorin Squire. |
