Show Legislative Junket Slated For St. George February 12 1 Chamber of Commerce and Dixie Junior College To Be Hosts While Legislators Are Here; Banquet Planned Sunday The Utah State Legislature will make its annual junket to St. George on Sunday, Feb. 12. They will arrive in Cedar City at 7 a.m. Sunday morning where they will be met by the Cedar City Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce and breakfasted. At 10 a.m. the St. George Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce will meet them with cars to bring them to St. George. Approximately 160 are expected to be in the party it was announced Wednesday night by Laron S. Andrus, secretary of the local club. Drivers making the trip to bring the legislators and their wives here are asked to be in Cedar City so that they can leave the Escalante hotel promptly at 10 a.m. On their arrival here at approximately 11:30, the legislators legisla-tors will be taken to their rooms at the hotels and other lodgings. At noon the Dixie college home-making home-making department will serve luncheon starting promptly at 12 noon. A public meeting will be held in the Recreation hall at 2 p.m. The meeting will be opened by an address of welcome given by Lawrence Wadsworth, president of the St. George Chamber of Commerce. Musical numbers will be furnished by the college band and chorus. The legislators will be introduced and several of them called upon to make short talks. Banquet in Evening A banquet will be tendered the group in the evening at the Arrowhead hotel banquet room at 7 p.m. W. B. Mathis will be the toastmaster for the occasion.
