Show Fathers and Sons Annual Banquet To Be Held Tonite In College Gymnaisum The Fathers and Sons Banquet to be held at the Dixie college gymnasium gym-nasium this evening will climax the anniversary week festivities of the Boy Scouts of America in this district. This banquet is scheduled to commence at 7:45 with a large crowd expected. Other events of the week were the Court of Honor, held in the south ward chapel Sunday evening and the scout circus, at the gymnasium gym-nasium Tuesday evening. At the Court of Honor Paul Crosby of Troop 401 was awarded the life rank and Leo Syphus of Troop 402 and Keith McArthur of Troop 403 were awarded star rank. Other awards were as follows: fol-lows: Second class: Paul Thompson, Thomp-son, Clair Brooks, Bevalere Cox, Blaine Fawcett, Melvin Terry. First class rank: Milton Schmutz, Alpine Prince, Leon Watson, Calvin Cottam, Junior Cannon, Orlo Hall, Floyd Parry, Walter Snow, Donald Cannon, Faunt Mayhew. Merit badges: J. Grant Snow, plumbing and reptile study; Floyd Parry, metal work and wood work; Leon Watson, personal per-sonal health; Leo Syphus, safety and cycling: Beman Snow, leather craft; El Myrrh Cox, pioneering; Paul Judd, pathfinding and personal per-sonal health; Paul Thompson, music, pathfinding and personal health; Paul Crosby, athletics; Keith McArthur, athletics and pathfinding; Dean Snow and Stafford Staf-ford Snow, poultry keeping; Milton Mil-ton Schmutz, Dwane Hunt, Junior Larkin, safety; LeGrande Frei, Glendon Graff, Arlo Hafen and Wendell Tobler, scholarship. A well-prepared program was enthusiastically en-thusiastically received by the large audience attending.
