Webster and children returned Sunday from a five-day visit in the northern north-ern part of the state. Mrs. Webster Web-ster remained in Provo with relatives. Mr. Webster went on to Salt Lake where he attended the farewell testimonial given his brother. Mark Webster, who left for the Texas L.D.S. mission. Mrs. Irene Wicks of Canby. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Roulet of Elgin, Ore., are spending a few days at the home Mr. and Mrs. Howard Judd. Neighbors of Miss S. Louisa Conklin, resident missionary of the local Presbyterian church, joined in honoring her at a birthday birth-day anniversary dinner at her home Wednesday afternoon. Miss Conklin is 74, and is still active in her church work and in visiting the afflicted of the community. She also teaches day kindergarten at the mission chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Randall of Bunkerville spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Blake. Kenneth Milne of Salt Lake City visited here Sunday with his mother. Milne. Kenneth and Kent Anderson, twin brothers, who are attending the Dixie junior college from Glendale. witnessed the destruction destruc-tion of their family home last Sunday. They are the sons of Bishop and Mrs. Charles Anderson Ander-son and were home for the weekend. week-end. Fire started near the roof of their large frame house. A neighbor, who saw the blaze, rushed to the house and notified the family. The entire community turned out to give help but within an hour the place was burned to the ground, the family saved only a part of their belongings. Water power was not available and little could be done against the high wind to check the blaze. Mrs. Jennie Mathews returned to her home in Beaver Tuesday after visiting for the past 10 days with her son, Claude Thompson and familv. Attorney Ellis J. Pickett left Wednesday afternoon for Salt Lake Oty on business. He expects to be absent the remainder of the week. Ralph J. Bennett and Vernon Steele were St. George visitors Sunday from Carp, Nev. where they are employed with the Union Pacific. Winsor of Enterprise are leaving Sunday on the Challenger for the San Francisco Fair. They expect to visit points of interest in various parts of California including at least one of the best boat trips. Mrs. Julia Graff left February 27 for a week's visit with her son.
