Show Leqisiators Yary Their Votes On Important Bills This Week Eleventh district legislative representatives rep-resentatives last week varied their votes on important and controversial contro-versial measures up for final consideration con-sideration in senate and house. Senator Glenn E. Snow voted no on H.B. 59, simplifying procedure pro-cedure for financing publicly-owned publicly-owned utilities, which was killed in the senate after passing the house, and yes on S.B. 107, curbing curb-ing municipal officers in undertaking under-taking utility projects before ascertaining the cost, which passed pass-ed in the senate. Senator Snow was for S.B. 66, enabling cities and counties to undertake slum clearance and low cost housing project in association with the federal government. He also favored a bill removing the tax from oleomargarine made from domestic fats and oils. He was absent and not voting on two bills. Representative Charles R. Hunter Hun-ter voted no on H.B. 13, the homestead tax exemption bill, and no on S.B. 30, liberalizing the state syndicalism and sabotage law. He approved H.B. 28, prohibiting pro-hibiting public office holders from occupying positions in political parties. He was absent and not voting on H.B. 73, banning fireworks. fire-works.
