Show Miss Lena Besendorfer left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Salt Lake City to attend at-tend a nurses convention. Dr. J. M. Cottam, Dr. Ralph Hayward and , Wiliam Smith, returned re-turned to Los Angeles Sunday night taking with them three large bucks. Mrs. Sarah Morris of Enterprise is here to spend some time doing temple work. Mr. and Mrs. D. Wilson Wood-ard, Wood-ard, Sr. of Widstoe have moved here to make their home. Mrs. Wallace B.-. Mathis jhas been receiving medical treatment week. Miss June Jepson underwent an operation for appendicitis at the local hospital on Tuesday. Miss Edith Brooksby of Fre-donia, Fre-donia, Arizona arrived here Sunday Sun-day from Fredonia, Arizona to spend a week visiting her sister Miss Isabelle. She will leave soon for the East Central States Mission Mis-sion to spend two years. Miss Mary Whitehurst returned Tuesday from a few days visit with Mrs. Alma McGregor and daughters who are spending the winter in Provo. Mrs. Samuel Earl and infant son left the local hospital on Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Clause Tranchell and family of Spanish Fork are visiting her mother, Mrs. George Beacham and other relatives here. Mrs. Joseph T. Atkin Sr. returned re-turned Sunday from Los Angeles where she spent three weeks visiting visit-ing her daughter Mrs. Glenn Neil-son Neil-son who has a new baby boy, born October 1. Word has been received here that Dean Boyack. former Dixie College student was one of the debaters chosen at the U. Y. TJ. at Provo to represent that school at the Forensic Tournament which is being held at Denver. Colorado October 29-31. Two teams were chosen consisting of four boys and four girls. |
