Show College Play Well Received At Hurricane HURRICANE. Utah The "Purple "Pur-ple Moon", a three-act comedy-drama comedy-drama presenter here on Wednesday Wednes-day night, Feb. 6. by Dixie junior college under the direct ion of Pres. B. Glen Smith, was enthusiast icaly received by a capacity house at the high school auditorium. The play was enthusiasticaly received re-ceived for a number of reasons: In the first place the plot was absorbingly ab-sorbingly built up. second Miss Emily Brooks, who played the Princess Felicia, played her part convincingly: and third, other prominent pro-minent roles were taken by former students of Hurricane High. Clell Covington. Allan Reusch. Abner DeMille. and Miss Avonell Reber did fine work also. Miss Adelia Hall, granddaughter of John T. Hall, who did such fine acting in last year's D.J.C. play, upheld her former reputation with an intuitive portrayal of the irritable, although motherly landlady. |
