Show Dixie And BAC Meet For Two-Game Basketball Series Aggies Enter Games With Better Record, But Dixie Fans Hope For Upset The traditional basketball rivals of southern Utah, the Dixie Fliers and the Branch Aggies, will clash in a two game conference series at the Dixie college on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 18-19, at eight o'clock. So far during this season, the Branch Aggies have won three games against Dixie's one. The Cedar boys beat the Snow quintet in one game and defeated Albion in two games. Dixie has won only one game which was against the Albion basketeers. However, with both teams filled with determination determina-tion to win these games from their traditional rivals, this promises to be the most exciting games of the basketball season for Dixie fans. The Dixie players met defeat at the hands of the Snow team last week-end, when they played them two games on Snow's floor. This is one of the smoothest teams the Dixie Fliers have met yet, according ac-cording to Coach Lloyd Shields. Utilizing some splendid team work coupled with an unusual ability to sink the ball through the hoop, the Snow team scored heavily against the Fliers. Despite the wide differences in the scores, the Dixie boys played a good game of ball, Coach" Shields said. They were simply outclassed. The Snow basketball fans were very favorably favor-ably impressed by the fine sportsmanship sports-manship displayed by the Dixie players.
