Show Hurricane Moves Into Second Place With Win Over Parowan HURRICANE, Utah Hurricane moved back into second place in the league percentage column when they defeated Parowan on the latter's floor Friday, Feb. 11, by a score of 32-20. The Tigers had things pretty well their own way in the Parowan Paro-wan game, leading at the end of the first quarter 12 to 9 and maintaining main-taining the advantage throughout the contest. Parowan made but 6 goals from the field, four of which came during the first quarter. quar-ter. The loss of Wright and Isom from personals apparently failed to affect the contest, the Parowan five scoring but one foul pitch during the fourth quarter. Isom with 12 points was high scorer. Sullivan with 8 and Wright with 7 were next in line for the winners. Mitchell and Haltermann, with 8 and 6 points respectively were high for the losers. The game with Valley High February 18 ought to be good if one may judge by the showing made by Valley against Dixie. However, with her share of the breaks, Hurricane should win this one. |
