Show Toquerville Mrs. Rowena Slack Reporter Tuesday, Feb. 15, Mr. and Mrs. C. Moroni Kleinman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. A dinner for the family was held at the home of their son, Archie Kleinman and the evening was spent in visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Kleinman. Seven of their nine children attended. at-tended. They were: Mrs. Laura Simpson, of Evanston, Wyo. ; Howard How-ard and Miflin of Hurricane and Archie, George, Dan and Lawrence of Toquerville. Thursday night the M.I.A. sponsored spon-sored a dance for the benefit of the M Men basketball team, who are the winners of the Zion Park Stake. Friday was parents visiting day at Hurricane high school. Most of the parents, who have children at the school, visited and were well pleased with the school. The Relief Society held a Valentine's Valen-tine's Day dance on Monday evening. even-ing. The district school had a dance on Monday at the school house. Mrs. Alex Hunter of Cedar City spent the week-end visiting here. ' We had as a visitor in Sunday school last week, Joel J. Roundy of the Sunday school stake board of Hurricane. There has been quite a lot of sickness here during the past ten days. Wednesday, Feb. 2, the Sarah Willis chapter of the D.U.P. met at the school house to reorganize. Mrs. Hazel Bradshaw and Mrs. Josephine Sandberg of the county D. U.P. were in attendance. After the voting was over a pot luck lunch was enjoyed. |
