Show 394,000 FINULKLirxij: PLANTED IN SOUTH UTAH During 1930, 894,000 fish fry and fingerlings were planted in streams and lakes within the Dixie national forest. The fish were supplied sup-plied from both state and federal hatcheries. According to rangers' estimates there are 13,100 deer, 11 elk, 850 coyotes, 750 lynx, 60 mountain lion, 225 beaver, 330 fox, 325 badgers, 375 ermine and 8700 porcupine in the forest. The biological survey of local stockmen and forest officers killed during the past year 452 coyotes, 9 lions, 125 bobcats and 825 porcupines. |
