Show 11 ESCAPE AS BUS OVERTURNS LA3 YTGAS. Miraculously escaping es-caping serious injury when the Union Pacific bus in which they were riding turned over on its side I near Dry Lake, 26 miles north of Las Vegas, 11 persons, passengers and employees of the company were brought back to Las Vegas Thursday, shortly sfter the accident, acci-dent, for examination by Union I Pacific physicians, and then sent on their way again in a relief bus. Although the top of the great stage was crushed beyond repair when tire machine turned over, the passengers, scrambled about with luggage inside the conveyance, were able to extricate themselves without difficulty. Clayton W. Wright. 75. of May-wood, May-wood, Calif., was buried in luggage. lug-gage. According to other passengers, passen-gers, only the top of his bald head was in sight when the bus came to rest. Despite his age. he was none the worse for the accident. |
