Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, Feb. 27. Miss Blanche Graff returned this week from Salt Lake City where she has been for the past few months. A number of our men folks have taken a contract on the road where they will be employed for some time. Allen Graff, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Graff, had the misfortune misfor-tune to get three of his fingers badly cut last Saturday with a circular saw. Harvey Stucki returned from Salt Lake City last Saturday with a new Graham Brothers truck. The scouts went on an outing last Friday afternoon and returned Saturday. Satur-day. Miss Clara Graff spent the week end home from Hurricane where she is teaching school. The M. men of Hatch played basketball basket-ball here last Thursday night, the score being 21 to 41 in favor of Santa Clara. Ward primary conference was held last Sunday afternoon. The children rendered their parts in a very pleasing pleas-ing manner. A large congregation was in attendance. Mrs. Ferdinand Stucki of St. George spent Sunday here. Mr. and Mrs. John Dalley from Summit, Sum-mit, Utah, spent the last week here visiting relatives and friends, and also doing temple work at St. George. Miss Thelma Graff stepped on an old rusty nail last week which has caused her much trouble. Mr. and Mrs. William Atkin, Sr., of St. George, spent Sunday here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ha-fen. Ha-fen. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reber were visitors vis-itors here last Sunday. |
