Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids will be received bv the City of St. George, St. George. Utah, until 2:00 o'clock P. M., Saturday. March 3rd, 1928. and at that time publicly pub-licly opened for the construction of curb and gutter and gravel surfaced roadway in the City of St. George beginning be-ginning at the point of intersection of First East and First North Streets and running thence West one block to Main Street and thence South on Main Street two blocks to the intersection inter-section of Main and First South Streets, the total length being approximately approx-imately 1675 feet of graveled roadway and 3020 feet of curb and gutter, and the items upon which the City will accept ac-cept separate bids are as follows: 1st Construction of 3020 linear feet of curb and gutter including all necessary nec-essary excavation. 2nd Crushing and loading approximately approxi-mately 1700 yards of gravel. 3rd 2890 yards miles of gravel hauling haul-ing and spreading same to the required re-quired grade. 4th Excavation of 1860 yards of material ma-terial and preparing the sub-grade for receiving the gravel surfacing. surfac-ing. Bids will be received for either or all the above items. Plans and specifications may be ob- tained from the undersigned or Leo A. Snow, the City Engineer, by depositing de-positing $2.50. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certified check in the sum of five - per cent of each bid is required, re-quired, provided that no bid shall be offered with less than $75.00 cash or certified check, which is an evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give the required re-quired bond within ten days from the date of the award.
