Show SHORT CREEK Short Creek, February 28. John T. Spencer made a trip to St. George last week. P. W. Johnson and Leroy S. Johnson John-son returned from Salt Lake City Wednesday where they had spent two weeks. P. W. Johnson went on to his home at Lee's Ferry. Mrs. O. T. Colvin and daughter, Charlotte, returned from Provo Wednesday Wed-nesday where they have been visiting for two weeks. Mrs. O. T. Colvin has gone to Ka- nab to nurse Mrs. Chris Heaton who has a baby girl. The Rockville orchestra came out on Friday night and gave a dance here. There was a large crowd present and an enjoyable time was had. Mrs. Warren Black has gone to St. George to be with her mother, Mrs. Chas. Walker, who is very ill. Warren and Millard Black took Mrs. Black down, returning Friday. Leroy S. Johnson made a business trip to Hurricane last week. Mrs. Mattie Kernell and Charles Burbaker of the Pipe Valley district, were visiting in Short Creek Sunday.' A party was held at the home of Leroy S. Johnson Wednesday night and a very enjoyable time was had. Urban Colvin has gone to Lee's Ferry Fer-ry to bring out a car. Merrill Russel, Wanda Russell, Newell Ne-well DeMill and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin DeMill of Rockville and Guy Semple of Short Creek were visitors at the Colvin home Saturday. |
