Show CAR DAMAGED IN COLLISION A Dodge touring car driven by Andrew An-drew Parker of Fredonia was badly smashed in a collision a short distance west of the Evergreen station Saturday Satur-day night about ten o'clock. The other oth-er car was a Buick Coupe owned by a resident of Leeds, and was not seriously serious-ly damaged. Young Parker was driving east at a good rate of speed when he met the other car, also traveling fast. The supposition is that Parker misjudged the speed of the approaching car and waited until the other machine was close upon him before turning out. The Leeds machine caught the left rear wheel of the Parker car, and the impact was such that Parker's machine mach-ine was thrown from its course, headed head-ed across the road and climbed a steep bank by the roadside, and turned over, practically demolishing the car. |
