Show LAVERKIN LA VERKIN, Oct. 28.-JJrs. La Ver-na Ver-na Graff and Mrs. Ina Gifford, who underwent operations at the Washington Wash-ington County hospital last week are improving nicely. Among those returning with deer this season were Wrn. Sanders, Samuel Barnhurst, Loren D. Squire, Wayne and Reed Wttlson, Harris, Wickley, Kenneth and Winfred Gubler, MrsJPar-tha MrsJPar-tha Jackson, Carl Stratton, Sidney Thompson, Clair Judd, Clarence Sanders, San-ders, Clyde DeMill and Glen P. Woodbury. Wood-bury. Win. Sanders spent the week end here from Cedar City where he has employment. Mrs. Verda Price, who has been visiting vis-iting her father, B. P. DeMill, left last week for her home at Junction. Mrs. Roma Wallace spent the week end here. Light frosts have been felt here the past few nights. . . Four molasses mills here are going full capacity. They are using crude oil for fuel, with great success. Emil Graff. and Cyrus Gifford were visitors in St. George last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Morris Wilson were business visitors in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Barnhurst left for St. George today, Mr. Barnhurst Barn-hurst for medical treatment. Miss Lucile Sanders, who is employed employ-ed at Rockville, was visiting at her home here Sunday. |
