Show JAIL BREAKERS' FREEDOM NIPPED WSthin a few minutes after their escape from' the county jail here last Sunday rnjorning, Richard Dickson, 23, of Chicago, and Victor Lubertowski, 19, were recaptured, and were taken to Salt -Lake Monday, the former to answer to grand larceny charges, and Luberstowski to serve a term of from six months to two years in the state penitentiary.- He was sentenced by Judge LeRoy H. Cox Saturday morning. morn-ing. The pair made their escape from the jail by crawling through a hole in the ceiling, passing through the attic and dropping to the floor in the corridor, the outside door of which was open. Dickson, who is well known here, was apprehended the latter part of the week and held for Salt Lake officers. He is charged with having stolen clothing, a revolver, a phonograph and other articles from the home of Robert Rob-ert Kodgen in Salt Lake where he had stayed for some time. |
