Mrs. Mary W Chamberlain of Provo spent the fore part of the week visiting visit-ing relatives here. Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Daly of Pan-guitch Pan-guitch spent Sunday visiting their son LaVerne and family here. Sidney Pace of Alamo, Nev., arrived here Monday to spend a few days visiting vis-iting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Pace. Mrs. Mary J. Bunker left last Saturday Sat-urday for Cedar City to spend several weeks with her daughter, Mrs. John E. Blazzard. Glenn Snow of Hurricane spent the week end visiting here. Mrs. Snow who had been visiting her parents in Pine Valley, returned with him. Cumjmings Gardner, after spending a m,onth in New York and Chicago, has returned to Los Angeles where he will continue his studies in the university. Mrs. Olive Reeve who underwent an operation at the Washington County hospital recently, returned Sunday to her home at Hurricane. Mr. and Mrs. David Woodbury accompanied her home and spent the day there. John S. Dorough and Miss Edith Stiles of Las Vegas were married at the Arrowhead hotel Monday morning by Bishop F. G. Miles. Mrs. Wm. Lamb left Tuesday for Nephi to join her husband. They will then spend a few weeks visiting in Salt Lake and Ogden. Mrs. Kumen D. Williams, Mrs. Maude Seegmiller, Mrs. Ed Miles and Mrs. Ward Esplin entertained at a Halloween Hal-loween party at the Seegmiller home Wednesday evening. 'Mrs. Rulon Dalley and three sons of Cedar City are visiting at the home of Mrs. Dalley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Pace. They came in Monday. Mrs. Susan Dodge arrived here on Sunday fromi Los Angeles to spend a few days visiting while en route to Provo. Mrs. C. B. Stewart Jr. arrived here Friday after accompanying her husband hus-band on a month's business trip to Chicago, New York and Washington, D, C, and left Monday for her home in Los Angeles.. Mr. Stewart remained I in Chicago. |
