Show CEDAR CITY OPENS 3RD CHAUTAUQUA Revue and Drama Presented Last Night as First Number on Inter-Community Program Cedar City's program consisting of a revue and drama, directed by Ira N. Hayward, Melvin Done and Mary Bal-lantyne, Bal-lantyne, was presented at the Dixie College auditorium, last night as the first number on the inter-community Chautauqua sponsored by the chambers cham-bers of commerce of St. George, Pa rowan ro-wan and Cedar City, and the Lions club of Beaver. The program was as follows: a Revue, "Oh, Oh, Owen!" featuring featur-ing three original songs, composed by Done; words by Hayward and Mrs. Done. b "Memories," featuring an original orig-inal waltz song by Mr. and Mrs. Done. c "Guardettes," song and dance novelty. b "Gunga Din", featuring Austin Dalley, dramatic reader. e "Wlirzel-Flummery," one act play by A. A. Milne, directed by Ira N. Hayward. Tonight Parowan will give Square Crooks, directed by Will L. Adams, with the following cast: Eddie Ellison, Will L. Adams; Kay Ellison, Miss Barbara Green; Larry Scott, Paul Adams; Jane Brown, Carol Adams; Harry Welch, Taylor Miller; Bridget O'Rourke, Louise Adams; Mike Ross and Timothy Hogan, Ray.Adamte; Sorrow, Lilliam Jensen. Saturday night Beaver will present "Three Live Ghosts,' directed by Wal- lace A. Goates. This is a three-act comedy, said to be one of the liveliest and best ever seen on the American stage. It played for several years in New York City before being released for general production. Thirty-five take part in the performance. St. George's number, a, variety musical mu-sical program; under the direction of Prof. Earl J. Bleak, is scheduled here-next here-next Monday night.
