Show Local News Items Kourken Bardizbanian, an Armenian, Ar-menian, who spent the past four years attending the U. S. A. C. at Logan, was a visitor here Sunday Sun-day evening while enroute to Los Angeles where he will attend the University of Southern California. Cal-ifornia. He was awarded a scholarship schol-arship to that university recently. He has several friends in Washington Wash-ington County who attended the U. S. A. C. who will be pleased to learn of his achievement. Mrs. Ellis Larson and two children returned home Thursday after a two week's visit with relatives re-latives in Salt Lake City, American Ameri-can Fork and Cedar City. Mt .and Mrs. Richard Andrus and baby of Los Angeles arrived here Sunday and will visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. W Andrus this ' week. Mr. and Mrs. B. Berthelson' of Climax .Colorado and Mrs. Harry Russell of Salt Lake City left Sunday morning for their respective respec-tive homes after a short visit with their parentts, Mr. 'and Mrs. O. S. Taylor. They were accompanied ac-companied by the former's daughter, daugh-ter, Miss Lynnea Berthelson who spent the summer here. On Saturday Sat-urday Mrs. LaVon McQuaid entertained en-tertained at a shower honoring Mts. Russell, who was recently married and sixteen friends met with her and enjoyed a delightful delight-ful afternoon. 3 w Miss Coblna Cottam, Miss Mary Swift and Mrs. Thessa McBride of Salt Lake City were guests of Miss Lea Cottam on Sunday. Mrs. McBride was on her way to Las Vegas to make her home and the others to Los Angeles to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff Alex-, ander and family of Los Angeles arrived here Saturday to spend two weeks with relatives. Miss Gertrude Cottam returned return-ed home Friday from Pioche, Nevada where 'she spent the summer sum-mer with her sister, Mrs. Jesse Fish. Miss Fern Starr returned Saturday Sat-urday from Logan where she spent a few weeks visiting her sister, Miss Grace. Mrs. H. S. Bell and son, Clark Lee of Monroe were week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Lee. t Mr. and Mrs. John T. Woodbury, Wood-bury, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. George Worthen spent Sunday visiting the latters daughter, Mts. Lenora Gregorson in Pintura. Mrs. Gregerson is still improving from her recent illness but remains re-mains in a weakened condition. w if Mrs. L a G e n e Morris and daughter, Jerry Jene came in Monday from the Grand Canyon wliere Mrs. Morris spent the summer. Reich-mann Reich-mann and children left Wednesday Wednes-day to spend a month's vacation with relatives in Salt Lake City and Chicago. The children will remain with Dr. Reichmann's parents in Salt Lake City while Dr. and Mrs. Reichman visit the Medical College at Cincinatti, Ohio and the World's Fair at Chicago.
