Show MAL1NDA HALL OF ENTEHPK1SE PASSES Funeral services were hold at. Enterprise on Tuesday afternoon for Malinda Hall who passed away at the home cf her son, Job Hall in iSt. George at 2:30 Monday morning. The Enterprise choir offered the opening number and prayer j was offered by Elder Joseph Jones. 1 i A vocal solo, "One Fleeting Hour" was offered by Rose Bar-locker, Bar-locker, accompanied on the violin by Roy Staheli. Other musical numbers were vocal duet, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope," by Athena Terry and Miss Huntsman. A vocal solo, "Mothers Old Red Shawl" by Deward Hall, a grandson, and an anthem by the choir. Speakers were Bishop George O. Holt, Amos Holt, and Deward Terry. Original verses were read by Rilla Davenport, a grandaughter. Interment In-terment was made in the Enterprise En-terprise cemetery and Elder Will- iam Lund dedicated the grave. ! Malinda Hall was born in Og-j Og-j den June 16, 1S57, a daughter ! of Amos and Nancy Welburn Hunt. She came to St. George in 1S61 and lived with her folks at Clover Valley and Hebron. She was married in the Endow-' Endow-' uier.t House at Salt Lake City j in 1S75 to William Wesley hall j and reared a large family. The following children survive: William and Edmond. Kanarra; Amos. Robert and Clifford. Enterprise; En-terprise; Job, SL.Xiji'fte; !,lnitl i Fallon, Nevada; James, American Ameri-can Fork; Desmond. Pioche. Nevada; Ne-vada; .Mrs. J. Z. Alger. Jr.. Enterprise En-terprise and Mrs. Everest Hack-ett. Hack-ett. Deer Lodge. Nevada. She is survived by two sisters. Jafce Holt of Enterprise and Angeline Coleman of Teasdale. One half-sister. half-sister. Eliza Peterson of Oregon and one half-brother. Elias Hunt of 6t. George. She leaves over I fifty grandchildren and over fl.'ty great grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was always a faithful faith-ful Latter Day Saint and was active in church work. She was able to do a great deal of temple work and had many friends who will miss her. She had been in poor health for some time but it was not known until she was brought to St. George a week before her death that she was suffering from cancer can-cer and in a critical condition. |
